  1. Provide services to you
  2. Process inquiries, scheduling and transactions
  3. Send marketing material (i.e. emails or newsletters)

I review my retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. The law requires me to hold some basic types of information to comply with the law (taxes). To comply with insurance requirements, I keep records of my services for the duration of our contract. I will destroy electronic records at the end of our contract and continue to hold a paper copy for seven years thereafter. After the retention period, I will erase your information unless you have given me prior written consent to maintain your contact details.

I may release your information when I am requested to comply with the law.

In case I suddenly became incapacitated or otherwise unable to contact you, my supervisor will have access to your name and contact details so they can keep you informed and support you.

You have the right to request a copy of the information I hold about you. You can request in writing for your data to be erased. I will review your request and comply within a month unless I am obliged to keep your data for ethical reasons or I am required by law.

How do I store your data?

When you give me your personal information, I take steps to ensure it is treated securely. I store electronic data that is sensitive in encrypted, password-protected and virus-protected online databases. I keep manual data in a securely locked filing system.
